About

Roxanne always knew she’d create – between drawing, painting and photography, creativity was her first language, even before French or English.

Today, she’s a bilingual copywriter at LG2 Montréal, working from inside a niche French market while making waves far beyond it. During her eight years at LG2, she’s built an award-winning portfolio of work that’s been recognized by more than 35 national and international awards, including The One Show, Clio Awards, The Effies, Marketing Awards, Applied Arts Advertising Awards, the ADCCs, Idéa and more. In the past year alone, she won the Young Indies award (by Worldwide Partners), took home Bronze at Young Lions Canada (Cannes Lions) and was named one of the top four creatives under 30 by the Advertising and Design Club of Canada (ADCC).

Roxanne believes creativity is a privilege and a responsibility. To her, campaigns aren’t just meant to sell, but to serve. It’s this purpose that drives her. While still an intern, her work on mental health for the Quebec Ministry of Health and Social Services won a Grand Prix at Idéa, the biggest awards in French Canada. More recent campaigns with National Bank have redefined women’s place in finance, underscoring the fact that Roxanne’s creative thinking has always centred on social impact. Matching universal human insights with her unique experiences as a French speaker, she’s helped brands address the specificity of the market with ideas that resonate deeply. Tapping into cultural pain points such as having the feminine word for “investor” officially recognized in French (instead of the male only noun), or turning famous magazine covers like ELLE Canada into feminist financial manifestos. Roxanne continues to infuse every brief with empathy, intelligence and bold storytelling.
